Showcasing the Best in Brick Architecture – Submit Your Project for the Brick Award 26

13. February 2025

Vienna – The Brick Award is an internationally renowned architectural prize that honors innovative, inspiring and outstanding brick architecture.

Independent architecture critics, leading experts, visionary architects, and innovative developers are invited to submit exceptional and creative buildings as well as other construction works made of clay building materials.

The spectrum of applications ranges from classic but also unusual, visionary building solutions using classic clay blocks, facing bricks and roof tiles to the creative application of clay pavers and ceramic façade panels. Submitted projects may incorporate both new and repurposed bricks, clay blocks, pavers, roof tiles, or other clay building products. Special attention will be placed on how the project integrates functionality, sustainability, climate resilience and energy efficiency. The use of wienerberger products is not a prerequisite for participation.

First introduced by wienerberger in 2004, the Brick Award was created to highlight the limitless possibilities of this natural building material, demonstrating how dynamic, forward-thinking, and extraordinary modern brick architecture can be. Over the past decades, the Brick Award has earned prestigious recognition across the international architectural landscape, establishing itself as a benchmark for excellence in contemporary architecture.

Submission period has started on November 25, 2024, and will be open till March 9, 2025.
